Positions Available1DescriptionJET Education Services (JET) in South Africa has requested the support of a Peace Corps Response Volunteer (PCRV) to serve as a Parental and Caregiver Involvement (PCI) Rural Education Coordinator. PCI has been identified as a determining element of education related outcomes over the years by JET. In 2024-2025, JET aims to consolidate the lessons learnt to date in an attempt to mainstream the principles of PCI in education policy, support NGOs that are working in PCI, and contribute to more effective national, provincial and district coordination of PCI.The PCRV will coordinate interactions with parents and caregivers in rural and semi-urban regions, working closely with JET and other NGO staff that are managing existing projects, and plan, coordinate and contribute to outputs focused on PCI that emerge from the interactions.
