Key Responsibilities:

Team Management & Leadership:

Lead, coach, and manage multiple panel beating teams to consistently deliver top-quality work.
Foster a performance-driven, accountable, and respectful workshop culture.

Quality Control & Standards Compliance:

Implement and maintain strict quality assurance processes to ensure all work meets industry and manufacturer standards.
Conduct inspections and sign-offs, ensuring repairs are completed to perfection.

Workflow & Deadline Management:

Plan, schedule, and prioritize repair jobs to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality.
Monitor job progress and adjust plans to avoid bottlenecks and delays.

Productivity & Efficiency:

Identify areas for process improvement and implement systems to increase workshop productivity.
Oversee resource allocation, parts procurement, and tool maintenance for minimal downtime.

Customer Service Oversight:

Ensure timely communication and updates to customers, insurers, and other stakeholders.
Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and ensure overall satisfaction.

Business Development & Growth:

Work closely with upper management to expand the business, onboard new clients (e.g. insurers, fleets), and optimize profitability.
Track KPIs, prepare reports, and contribute to strategic planning.

Compliance & Safety:

Enforce health & safety regulations and ensure compliance with all legal and industry standards.

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years' experience in a panel beating/automotive repair management role. Strong leadership and team management skills. Solid understanding of panel beating techniques, equipment, and quality control standards. Proven track record in workflow planning, meeting deadlines, and driving performance. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Tech-savvy with the ability to use job management systems and reporting tools. Business mindset with a focus on growth, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Pay: R18000,00 - R25000,00 per month
