PANEL BEATER
DESCRIPTION:
The panel beater will be responsible for final finishing and aligning of panels on composite and/or
steel vehicle body, boot, bonnet, and doors. The work must be done according to a given specification and / or quality standard as required for paint shop approval.
Must have worked with fiberglass.
THE INCUMBENTS PRIMARY DUTIES WILL BE TO:
General: (but not limited to the following)
- Applying and sanding body filler on composite metal vehicle bodies.
- Should be able to fulfil the function of a metal finish on vehicle bodies.
- Proven experience as a Panel Beater.
- Previous experience in finishing composite cars would be highly advantageous.
- Good manual skills, accuracy, and precision.
- Physically capable of performing primary duties.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written).
- Contactable references.
- Grade 10 -12.
- Two -Three years experience in Panel Fitment, Metal and GRP Body Finishing.
- Qualified Trade Test.
