Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate, experienced Palliative Care Physician to join a prestigious Diamond Status Hospital in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will specialize in improving quality of life for patients with serious, chronic, or life-limiting illnesses by managing physical symptoms, emotional needs, and spiritual concerns. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering holistic, patient-centered care aligned with international best practices.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive palliative care to patients with complex, life-limiting conditions across inpatient, outpatient, and home care settings.Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with oncologists, intensivists, internists, nurses, and allied health professionals.Manage pain, nausea, breathlessness, fatigue, and other distressing symptoms using evidence-based methods.Support patients and families in making informed medical decisions, including advanced care planning and end-of-life discussions.Facilitate emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual support services in collaboration with counselors, social workers, and chaplains.Contribute to hospital-wide initiatives in quality improvement, ethical consultations, and staff education on palliative principles.Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to international standards of medical record-keeping and confidentiality.Stay updated with developments in palliative care medicine and engage in continued professional development.Requirements:Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.Board Certification or Fellowship in Palliative Care Medicine or a closely related specialty.Valid license or eligibility for licensing with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a palliative care setting, preferably in a JCI-accredited or Diamond-status hospital.Exceptional communication skills, empathy, and cultural sensitivity, particularly in end-of-life conversations.Proficient in working within multidisciplinary teams and in high-pressure clinical environments.Deka Minas (Pty) LtdRecruiter
