The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and painting interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish and maintaining a safe, clean and visually appealing environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping or repairing as required Apply paints, stains, primers, varnishes and protective coatings to a range of surfaces Maintain and repair drywall, textures and ceiling finishes Set up and use scaffolding, ladders and other equipment safely Mix, match and tint colours to maintain existing paint finishes Assist with line marking for parking and roadways Handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely and in line with MSDS guidelines Provide friendly, helpful service to all clients and stakeholders Adhere to all safety, environmental and quality requirements

Qualifications

Grade 12 At least 3 years' painting experience in a maintenance or facilities environment Knowledge of tools, equipment, paint products and application techniques * Understanding of OHS Act requirements
