Job Description
Summary
To provide painting and decorating capacity as well as support to the Maintenance Department.
Operational Requirements
Execute daily tasks and work instructions according to relevant Procedures.
Painting and decorating Preparation of work including, sanding, washing, filling etc. of surfaces to be painted. Painting of all aspects of interior and exterior of buildings and property. Clean and tidy up areas upon completion of painting activities. Ensure clean and safe working areas. Mutation and maintenance support Painting of flats during mutation times. Washing/ cleaning walls Sweeping floors Stock control Ensure that painting brushes and tools are fully functional. Report on equipment which needs repair/replacement Report on stock shortages of paint and equipment. Partake in community development initiatives.
Minimum requirements
Grade 10 or above. Painting experience.
Salary range: R6000-R8000 CTC per month
Start date: 1 March 2026
