A subsidiary of a global soft fruit marketing company, is looking for a Packaging Manager, who wants to grow together with their team from South Africa. The role will be based in Stellenbosch, Western Cape.

We're looking for a proactive Packaging Manager to take charge of packaging operations and drive excellence across our network.
What You'll Do
- Plan and manage seasonal packaging requirements to keep production and sales running smoothly.
- Act as the go-to person for packhouses, ensuring specifications and stock levels are on point.
- Build strong supplier relationships, negotiate deals, and maintain compliance standards.
- Support new product development and lead packaging innovation projects.
- Keep accurate records, streamline processes, and contribute to strategic planning.
- A relevant diploma or degree.
- 5-8 years' experience in packaging within agriculture or fresh produce.
- Knowledge of packaging design, cost analysis, and project management is a plus.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ability to work under pressure.
- Valid driver's licence.
