The Department of the Premier, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a competent and qualified individual to execute and administer departmental work organisation capacity services, transversal job design, transversal organisation design, service delivery initiatives and practice enablement and development.
Minimum Requirements
An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 1 year relevant experience.

Key Performance Areas
Provide and support departmental work organisation capacity improvements i.e. executing and implementing Org Design and OD interventions, including that of Business Process redesign; Provide a job design service i.e. provide job evaluation services and development of competency-based job descriptions; Provide transversal organisation design and alignment services; Provide and facilitate transversal service delivery and Batho Pele initiatives; Provide input and support with practice enablement and development i.e. contributing to the execution and implementation of optimisation, enablement and maintenance of OD methodologies, tools, and techniques and provide input into the directorates information management system and database with specific reference to OD interventions; It will be advantageous to have a valid (Code B or higher) driving licence. Organisational performance as they relate to the field of organisation development; Organisation development theory, practice and techniques regarding organisation design, process development and improvement and behaviour; Information systems that aid in the management of knowledge and information pertaining to the line function; Project management; Legislation, regulatory frameworks, policies and best practices that have a bearing on the line functions; Operational management practices; Procurement and tendering processes; Policy development, and operational management, monitoring and review processes; Modern systems of governance and administration; Public service procedures, processes and systems; Regional and local political, economic and social affairs impacting on the provincial government of the Western Cape; Constitutional, legal and institutional arrangements governing the South African public sector; Public finance, human resources and discourse management processes; Public Finance Management Act, National and Provincial Treasury Regulations, other financial policies, prescripts, directives and collective agreements; Functioning of the province and the activities of sister departments/related functional areas; Policies of the government of the day; Labour Relations legislation and regulations; Performance management in general; Operational management practices.

Remuneration
R 397 116 - R 467 790 per annum (Salary level 8)

Notes
