Job Purpose:
To assist with raw material receipt, raw material preparation, batch weighing, batch compounding, drug manufacturing and cleaning of the Compounding Department.
Key Job Outputs:
Receipt of Raw Material at Compounding as per SOP
Preparation of Raw Material for Compounding as per SOP
Obtain a COA for raw materials when assay and /or loss or drying is required
Make photocopies of any document required by the department
Batch weighing as per SOP
Ensure that there are sufficient plastics bags and securiseals for weighing
Ensure that there is sufficient pallets and tote bins for weighing
Ensure that each weighed batch is covered as per SOP
Batch compounding as per SOP
Assist with pre-compounding checks (Conductivity water samples for pH etc.)
Drug Manufacturing as per SOP
Cleaning of all areas in the Department as per SOP
Tank cleaning and sanitisation when necessary
Closing date: 21 July 2025
Grade 12 or equivalent
1 to 2 years' experience in pharmaceutical industry
