Job Description
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal applicant will possess the following: -
Minimum Grade 12 qualification or equivalent.
Valid Forklift Operator's License.
Ability to communicate, read and write in English.
+/- 2-years' experience in a Tyre Retread Plant will be an advantage.
Tread preparation experience necessary.
Keen to learn other tasks in the Tyre Retread Plant.
JOB OUTPUTS
Tread cutting and preparation to pre-determined lengths and widths.
Complete and update any tyre related control sheets.
Complete and update any quality control related documentation.
Assist at other Tyre Plant work stations when required.
General cleaning of working area.
Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations.
Maintain tyre related hand tools and machines.
Stock Control & Movement between raw material & production areas.
Operate forklift in all Tyre Plant area.
Knowledge of measuring instruments, i.e. measuring tape etc.

High School (matric) (Preferred)
Experience:
Tyre Retreat Plant: 1 year (Preferred)
