Job Description

As the Production and Facility Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production of our wooden portable storage units and maintaining our warehouse facility and fleet. Your responsibilities will include:

This role involves overseeing the production of the wooden portable storage units (Woodworking skills required) as well as general facilities maintenance and assisting with vehicle break downs or maintenance.

Woodworking:

• Leading and participating in the production of wooden portable storage units.
• Ensuring that the woodwork meets our high-quality standards.
• Overseeing the ordering of stock and materials necessary for production.

Facility Maintenance:

• Managing and coordinating facility maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
• Overseeing repairs and maintenance of the warehouse, equipment, and the company fleet.

Team Management:

• Supervising and leading the production team, drivers, and packers.
• Conducting staff training to improve skills and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Site Visits:

• Attending site visits to evaluate customer needs.
• Providing excellent customer service and addressing any on-site issues effectively.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience:

• Strong woodworking skills, including experience with woodworking tools and techniques.
• Previous experience in facility maintenance and warehouse management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead production teams.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and mentor staff to improve their skills and productivity.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in inventory management and ordering of materials.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to coordinate and manage truck maintenance and repairs.
