Are you a hands-on operational leader who thrives on driving efficiency, safety, and performance? We're looking for an experienced Operational Manager to take ownership of our end-to-end operations and play a key role in scaling performance and profitability.
Position: Operations Manager
Location: Johannesburg South
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in engineering or related field
A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in a operational or supervisory role
Engineering, Manufacturing of heavy machinery (equipment) industry experience
Multi-National experience
Salary: R 1.6mil to R1.8mil including benefits (Excludes Performance Bonus)
Skills: Exceptional analytical thinking, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.
Proven experience in managing workshop processes and driving production efficiency.
High sense of accountability, discipline, and integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure optimal performance of equipment through preventative maintenance and process improvements.
• Manage commissioning of new equipment and train personnel for effective operation.
• Ensure full compliance with company health, safety and quality systems in accordance with statutory requirements
• Collaborate with EXCO to develop and manage the annual operational budget while monitoring financial performance, operational costs, and productivity metrics to ensure sustained profitability.
• Lead and develop teams through effective coaching, mentoring, and performance management, ensuring high performance, engagement and accountability.
