Job Summary We seek an experienced, dynamic and driven Operations Manager to join our Management and Operations team. The successful applicant will be responsible for the complete and independent management of the companys Construction Operations (Contracts) and the Estimating function. The management of these functions will be through line managers in the abovementioned areas. This senior position will also entail the business development of various current and future sectors as well as being a senior representative of the company. The Operations Manager would be involved in making strategic decisions with the Board of Directors to achieve the planned business objectives with regards to operations. The profitable management of the companies construction activities as well as the ability to procure work, is a critical key performance area of the Operations Manager. The successful candidate should be people focused in the areas of mentorship and development as well as having the ability to cultivate a strong team approach in his/her leadership. Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required; Civil Engineering Degree or Diploma No less than 18 years experience in the industry of which at least 10 years experience working in South Africa, a minimum of 10 years experience at the required level, Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Pr.CM/Pr.PM and/or Pr.Eng Registered and/or SACPCMP A business-related qualification will also be an advantage.
