Operations Manager (Cloud Accounting Practice) - Cape Town (Hybrid)

Join one of South Africa's leading cloud accounting firms as an Operations Manager. In this role, you'll ensure the smooth running of our business by optimising systems, processes, and compliance. You'll be at the heart of strategy, performance, and operational excellence, making sure our people, platforms, and workflows run at their best.
What you'll be doing

• Standards & Strategy - Establish and maintain business standards for accuracy, productivity, and reliability.
• Systems & Analytics - Monitor, measure, and improve information management systems and analytics across operations.
• Continuous Improvement - Lead business process and system enhancements to drive efficiency.
• Operational Oversight

- Manage the efficiency of daily business functions and ensure smooth delivery. * Reporting
- Prepare reports on the performance of internal controls, processes, and systems, and recommend improvements. * Risk & Compliance - Oversee risk management and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements.

• Ad Hoc Projects - Take ownership of business improvement initiatives as they arise.

What you bring

• 5+ years' experience in cloud accounting, business operations, process improvement, or systems management.
• A CA(SA) or similar qualification.
• Experience in implementing automated systems and proven ability to design, manage, and optimise processes and systems.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Xero, Dext, Simple Pay, and similar cloud-based systems.
• Meticulous attention to detail, deadline, and solution-driven
• Strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and internal controls, and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage across teams.
