Job Description

An exciting opportunity exists for an Operational Lead at a leading airconditioning, refrigeration and heatpump company. The primary responsibility of the role is to oversee and optimise the day-today operations of the company's business.

The successful incumbent will also be responsible for leading a team of operations personnel and ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of services. The Operations Lead role is responsible for driving operational excellence, meeting customers expectations and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the day-to-day operations of stores, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. Ensuring exceptional customer service, resolving customer complaints, and maintaining a customer-centric environment. Leading, motivating, and managing the store teams, including performance management and training. Overseeing stock levels, ordering, and ensuring efficient stock control to minimize losses and maximize availability. Reconciling transactions and ensuring accuracy in financial procedures. Ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant legal and safety regulations. Implementing and maintaining visual merchandising standards to enhance the customer experience. Identifying and resolving operational issues, discrepancies, and challenges within the store.

Required Skills and Experience:

Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team. Minimum 3 years of retail experience, preferably with 1 year in a management or leadership role. A strong understanding of airconditioning, heatpump and refrigeration product experience will be advantages. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service. Ability to identify and resolve operational issues effectively. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word) and retail ERP systems. Strong organisational and time management skills. A positive and enthusiastic approach to work. Must have a valid code B drivers' licence and willing to travel nationally. You will be required to attend meetings at head office (Midrand) from time to time.
Working Hours: Mon. - Thur. 07:30 - 17:00, Fri. 07:30 - 16:00 and Sat. 08:00 - 12:00

Salary: R10 000 PM + Comm.
