Job Description


The Fuel Company (TFC), has a vision of becoming the market leader in the independent fuel retail sector in South Africa. TFC has a broad customer base including the general public, the transport and agricultural sector, as well as national and local government.

Job Specification

Reporting to the Regional Manager Operations Fuel & Convenience, the incumbent would be responsible for operational support to the region, including internal audits, process improvements, incident reports, staff training and development, handling enquiries, delivering operational reports, ensure profitability and expense management.

Minimum Requirements

  • National Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounting, or related field
  • 4 years related experience
  • Excellent MS Office skills and knowledge of fuel & convenience operating systems

  • Provide operational support to the region including the tracking of operational performance against budget, scheduling expenditures, maintain branch controls, and analysing variances to maximise profitability in meeting sales targets
  • Conduct and moderate branch audits to audit standards as per audit plan, ensuring compliance with internal company policies, procedures, processes, and external regulations

  • Ability to lead a high impact team and collaborate with different stakeholders
  • Building trusting relations and inspire relations amongst the internal and external stakeholders
Digital Transformation
  • Drive the automation/optimization of digital processes associated with fuel convenience operating systems and platforms.
  • Provide advice/guidance and training to branches, in a timely and courteous manner
