Operations Accountant

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- You will oversee the financial and administrative functions of the Urban Trade Region.
- Monitoring and reporting on financial performance
- Supporting the regional manager with strategic and operational insights
- Ensuring accurate and timely monthly reporting
- Driving improvements in processes and systems
- Supporting annual budgets and feasibility assessments
- Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance
- Ensure stock counts are done and variances are reported accurately
- Bachelors degree in Accounting (BCom) or CIMA qualification
- 4+ years relevant experience in a financial/operations accounting role
- Strong systems knowledge with advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
- Proven ability to travel to multiple branches as required
- A self-starter with analytical acumen and strong stakeholder management skills
- Sound judgment in complex environments
- Results-driven with a high achievement orientation
- Self-aware with a strong sense of ownership
- Own transport is a non-negotiable requirement.
