An opportunity has become available for a high caliber Operational Supervisor (Contract Supervisor) Operation.

Minimum Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Logistics/ Transportation Management xe2x80xa2 Code EB divers license, EC drivers license an advantage xe2x80xa2 2 years minimum experience in a senior supervisory position in the Transport Industry xe2x80xa2 7 year minimum experience in a supervisory position xe2x80xa2 Computer literate and with advance skill in MS Excelxe2x80xa2 Technical Knowledge in regards to Tyres and Vehicle Maintenance xe2x80xa2 SHEQ experience in the Transport Industry xe2x80xa2 Understanding of transport economics and finances xe2x80xa2 Driven towards achieving production targets and upholding high standards. xe2x80xa2 Able to communicate with, supervise and motivate employees to achieve targets xe2x80xa2 Excellent communication skills on all levels xe2x80xa2 Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team xe2x80xa2 Analytical, pro-active, organized, innovative xe2x80xa2 Disciplined and lead by example xe2x80xa2 Contactable reference for last 2 employers

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensuring fleet is maintained & in the optimal condition to operate/function under operational pressures xe2x80xa2 Ensure that fleet road worthy test are done timeously and vehicles have valid license discs xe2x80xa2 Conducting SHEQ tasks. Toolbox talks, SHE inspections, etc.xe2x80xa2 Supervise on site suppliers xe2x80xa2 Staff wages/overtime control xe2x80xa2 Vehicle fuel consumption monitoring xe2x80xa2 Onsite fuel bowser control xe2x80xa2 Ensuring operations administration is processed accurately and timeously xe2x80xa2 Cost control, reviewing quotes and invoices xe2x80xa2 Supervising day to day activities xe2x80xa2 Responsibility for depot and infrastructure maintenance xe2x80xa2 Manage on site security and enforse rules.
