As the Operational Manager, your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient functioning of the Mechanisation Division. You will be instrumental in optimising processes, meeting profit targets, managing new/used/parts inventory levels and ensuring customer satisfaction
BCom degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Financial Accountancy, Operations Management, or a related field.
Post graduate management qualification will serve as a recommendation.
Seven (7) years operational management experience.
Ten (10) years of experience in marketing, sales, and financial management, preferably in a mechanisation milieu.
Leadership: Proven ability to inspire and lead teams through strategic thinking and a goal-oriented approach.
Analytical thinking: Strong data analysis skills for performance assessment, as well as the ability to identify trends and drive continuous operational improvements.
Persistence: Tenacity in pursuing goals and overcoming challenges, displaying resilience in a work environment.
Negotiation: Must exhibits effective negotiation skills with stakeholders and excel in conflict resolution for mutually beneficial outcomes.
Conflict and problem resolution: Capable of problem identification and resolution while maintaining good interpersonal relationships especially during critical summer grain production periods.
Decision-making: The making sound decisions based on thorough analysis, showing a timely and calculated approach to risk-taking.
Management and communication: Resourceful management skills coupled with effective communication, promoting collaboration and an open communication culture.
Financial acumen: An in-depth understanding of financial principles, excelling in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Innovation administration: Proficient in introducing and implementing innovative solutions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement .
