About the Role

We are supporting a leading Financial Services organisation as they scale their operational improvement capability. They are seeking an experienced

Senior Process Excellence Lead

to drive end-to-end process optimisation, improve operational efficiency, and support a growing automation programme.

This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone who has led process improvement initiatives in complex environments and is comfortable working across multiple business units.

Key Responsibilities

Lead discovery, mapping and redesign of core operational processes Facilitate workshops with business SMEs to identify pain points and improvement opportunities Build clear, well-structured process documentation (as-is / to-be) Partner with automation teams to prioritise opportunities and prepare processes for digital enablement Deliver measurable outcomes through lean methods, simplification and standardisation Drive continuous improvement culture across teams and stakeholders Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership

Skills & Experience

Strong background in

Operational Excellence

,

Continuous Improvement

or

Lean Six Sigma

Experience in financial services, lending, insurance or similar regulated industries (preferred but not essential) Proven track record leading cross-functional process redesign initiatives Confidence working independently with senior stakeholders Ability to translate complex processes into clear, actionable artefacts Excellent communication, facilitation and workshop skills Lean Six Sigma certification a bonus (Green/Black Belt)
