The main purpose of this role is to work in close collaboration with various departments across the business to instill a controlled environment with a high level of financial awareness.
Responsibilities:
-Regular reporting and follow-up of financial health checks across the business
--Provide hands-on assistance to internal departments in order to resolve any queries
--Direct involvement in stock take variance reporting and investigations / non-compliance monitoring
--Highlighting of stock damages / anomalies to relevant parties
--Assist with month end and year end closings
--Assist with the annual audit as well as the BEE audit process
--Fixed Asset commissioning, CAPEX reporting against budget
--Routine monthly reporting as well as ad-hoc reporting requests
--Primary contact for collation of insurance related support and submitting of claims Health and Safety
