Job Description


Our client is a leading supplier of fresh produce is currently looking for a Operation Performance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be reporting to the Head of Operations, the successful incumbent will manage the operations performance across the business and collaborate with all departments.

As The Operation Performance Manager you will be responsible for reviewing, improving and setting the KPIxe2x80x99s and identifying opportunities for improvement. The incumbent will also manage implementation projects and train staff to increase efficiencies and reduce expenses. A key part of the role will be to manage cost saving projects for the business from identification to execution.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • A degree in Industrial Engineering or related
  • Six Sigma Certification (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in business Improvement Management, Change Management, business strategy, project management and KPI Management.
  • Experience in the Agriculture/Production/Manufacturing or FMCG Industries essential
  • Experience developing employee training programs.
  • Experience in a Management or leadership role
Knowledge:
  • HACCP / BRC / Food safety
  • Food production and process optimization
  • Sound experience in TPM, WCM, and LEAN methodologies.
  • Proficiency with TQM process evaluation techniques
  • Procurement of fruit and consumables etc
  • Budgets and financial monitoring and control.
  • Cost management
  • Management of capex projects
  • People / performance management
  • Understanding of health and safety systems and procedures
  • Operation performance and participative management
  • Project Management
  • Waste Management principles
Skills:
