JOB DESCRIPTION:

A skilled and experienced technical resource is needed to join the team as an OPENSHIFT KUBERNETES CONTAINER SPECIALIST.

In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining containerized applications using Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes platform.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications on the Red Hat OpenShift Kubernetes platform.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to understand application requirements and optimize containerization strategies.
• Configure and maintain the OpenShift environment, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Monitor the performance of containerized applications and address any issues related to resource utilization, networking, and storage.
• Implement automation and orchestration tools to streamline deployment and scaling processes.
• Work closely with the security team to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to container orchestration, networking, and integration.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams in creating container-ready applications.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in containerization, Kubernetes, and OpenShift technologies.

QUALIFICATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing containerized applications using Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Strong understanding of containerization concepts, microservices architecture, and cloud-native technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and container registries.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools for containerized environments.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and networking principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
