We've got a position available for an onboarding operations officer

Purpose of position:
Drafting, updating and maintaining all relevant documents related to group schemes.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the Head of Onboarding with drafting the relevant terms and conditions, quote, and policy documents in respect of all new onboardings
Proposing and implementing procedures and protocols to improve document accuracy and to ensure that legal templates are accurate and current
Taking ownership of the standard operating procedures manual
Implementing remedial measures following compliance reviews of schemes
Liaising and cooperating with other departments, including compliance, legal, risk, IT and actuarial sciences to achieve company goals and objectives
Requirements:
Matric or matric equivalent (essential)
Relevant legal qualification (beneficial)
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in insurance operations
Understanding and implementation of life insurance and applicable legislation (FAIS, FICA, LTIA, Insurance Act, and POPIA)
Understanding of insurance principles, operations and processes
Understanding of individual and collectively underwritten business
Skills and Attributes:
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
Ability to multi-task
Exceptional attention to detail
Strong organisational and planning skills
Strong work ethic
