Job Description

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall project management of BLISS projects (in collaboration with BLISS team leads) to reach deliverables within a set time with agreed resources.
  • Take part in BLISS project planning and set up project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Liaise and collaborate with project stakeholders (e.g., faculty, external clients, etc.) and funders regarding project schedule, action items and deliverables.
  • Provide project administrative support (e.g., setting up project meetings/meeting documentation)
  • Report on relevant BLISS projects according to project requirements and templates.
  • Manage the BLISS SharePoint folder with all relevant project documentation and reports (knowledge
management).
  • Provide general administrative support to CTL management and staff on South Campus.
  • Provide support in CTL building administration and maintenance (South Campus).
  • Provide support in general CTL office operations and logistics.
  • Act as the first point of contact in terms of enquiries (telephonic/email) to CTL offices (South Campus)
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders (students, staff, faculties, vendors, service providers, internal and external stakeholders).
  • Liaise with campus and external role players in the execution of daily operations.
  • Undergo professional development training to improve current skills and competencies and to obtain new skills and competencies for the position.
Inherent Job Requirements:
  • A relevant bachelor's degree or an advanced diploma/B.Tech degree/postgraduate certificate on NQF level 7 or a 3-year national diploma on NQF level 6.
  • A minimum of two (2) years relating to the duties and responsibilities.
Recommendations:
  • A minimum of two (2) years in project management and administration.
  • Postgraduate qualification in project management and administration
  • Experience within the higher education environment.

Salary:
The annual remuneration package, including benefits, is R408 148.51 - R513 407.84 per annum, depending on the budget available for the position, relevant work experience and qualifications.
