Duties and responsibilities:
  • Follow up on changes and variances with respective departments/focus areas/personnel/campuses.
  • Work closely with ICT and procurement department on asset purchases.
  • Address employee queries and report all incidences on Manage Engine and relevant UFS systems.
  • Tag assets.
  • Capture the ownership of assets, in regard to acquisitions and donations, on the asset register on PeopleSoft.
  • Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
  • Maintain all relevant files and records.
  • Ensure compliance with internal finance and ICT policies and procedures.
Inherent Job Requirements:
  • Grade 12 or National Vocational Certificate on NQF level 4.
  • A minimum of one (1) year working experience relating to the duties and responsibilities.
Recommendations:
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in management of assets and administration in a higher education environment.
  • Two yearsxe2x80x99 experience in UFS systems and office administration.
  • Two years experience in a higher education environment.
  • Two years relevant experience in the management of assets assigned to students and student employees.
  • A minimum of two (2) yearsxe2x80x99 experience in the use of PeopleSoft and relevant UFS systems.

The annual remuneration package, including benefits is R 354,408.50xe2x80x93 R 444,721.26 per annum, depending on the budget available for the position, relevant work experience and qualifications. Fringe benefits:
