Office Manager (junior) Urgent

Job Description


Duties:

  • Man the switchboard area for customer calls;
  • Manage the reception area and ensure that it is presentable;
  • Check the levels and quantity of stationary and consumables at Sandton office as well as IT hardware such as computers and printers;
  • Manage contracts with external office suppliers i.e. printers;
  • Contact suppliers and service providers to resolve IT queries such as internet connectivity and faulty telephone lines etc. once reported;
  • Contact landlords/ property owners should there be a faulty aircons, toilet or other services required from landlords/ property owners;
  • Coordinate and oversee all office activities to ensure a high-performance work environment;
  • Answer all channeled HR administration-related queries from colleagues and managers;
  • Plan the companies social events;
  • Client relationship management by answering queries and re-direct issues to correct department.
  • Travel bookings.
Requirements:
  • Matric
  • Relevant degree, diploma will be advantageous
  • 3-5 years similar experience in office administration
  • 1-2 years management experience advantageous
  • MS Office packages (Word, excel, powerpoint, pdf packages)
  • Proficient in typing, editing and managing documents electronically
  • Proficient in English business language (verbal and in writing)
