Hire Resolve is currently working with a leading mining company in the Northern Cape who is looking for an experienced Occupational Medical Practitioner to join their team.Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and medical assessments to employees in accordance with occupational health guidelines and regulations.
• Conduct pre-employment medical examinations, fitness-for-duty assessments, and periodic medical examinations.
• Diagnose and treat occupational and non-occupational illnesses and injuries.
• Participate in the development and implementation of health and wellness programs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with medical advancements and industry trends.
• Provide training and education to employees on occupational health and wellness topics.

Requirements

• Certificate: Grade 12 (Required).
• Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (Required)
• Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Medicine and Health (Required).
• HPCSA Registration xe2x80x93 Occupational Medical Practitioner for a minimum of 5 years (Required).
• 6 Yearsxe2x80x99 Primary and Occupational Health Care experience.
• Valid Driverxe2x80x99s License Code B / EB (Required).
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and practices
• Strong clinical skills and ability to diagnose and treat various medical conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Computer literacy and proficiency in medical software
