Role Purpose

To conduct relevant tests accurately within scope and ensure results are captured within the required turnaround time whilst providing administrative support to the nurse practitioner.
Requirements

• National Senior Certificate is essential

• Certification and sound practical knowledge in audiology, spirometry and vision testing is essential

• Administrative experience, including financial management, bookings and co-ordination of services.

• MS Office proficiency

• Practical knowledge of occupational health principles

• At least two years working experience in the occupational health field

Duties & Responsibilities

• Support nurse practitioner with medical procedures

• Perform various tests (lung function, vision, urine, audiometric, spirometry)

• File Managment

• Financial administration, generating proposals, invoices and follow up of payments with clients, Card machine and payment reconciliations

• Handle incoming telephone calls and direct them accordingly

• Arrange appointments for patients and maintain booking system

• Assist with follow-ups and queries relating to patient appointments

• Complete, update and maintain filing system on site

• Draw patient files when required

• Arrange/coordinate meetings as required

• Ensure all data required for entry on system is accurately captured
