Job Description
Our client, a leader in the private healthcare space, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nursing Services Manager to head up the nursing division at their facility.
This pivotal leadership role will see you managing all aspects of nursing services - from clinical governance and quality assurance to staff development, operations, and financial stewardship - ensuring excellence in patient outcomes and compliance with healthcare standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary nursing team to deliver safe, patient-centred care.
- Oversee quality assurance, infection prevention, and clinical governance frameworks.
- Manage nursing budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation effectively.
- Drive staff development, performance management, and transformation goals.
- Collaborate with doctors, patients, and hospital leadership to optimise care delivery.
- Degree or Diploma in Nursing / BCur (NQF 7+).
- Registered Nurse (SANC) with post-basic qualification in a clinical specialty.
- Minimum 5 years' management experience in a hospital environment (private sector preferred).
- Sound understanding of healthcare finance, compliance, and risk management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and change management skills.
- Intermediate to advanced computer proficiency.
