A leading player in the insurance industry is seeking a Non-Life Pricing and Structuring Lead to lead our client's specialist Cell Captive team. This is an exciting opportunity to drive strategic leadership and technical excellence, playing a crucial role in developing cutting-edge solutions for their clients.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing technical team, providing strategic direction that aligns with broader business objectives.
• Take full accountability for product development, pricing frameworks, and structuring initiatives for key portfolios.
• Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from the initial assessment of new offerings for commercial viability to leading rate reviews and re-pricing exercises for existing products.
• Work closely with internal teams to provide expert actuarial input on underwriting and capital structuring for new deals.
• Act as a senior technical advisor to both clients and internal stakeholders, translating complex actuarial insights into clear, actionable business decisions.
• Manage financial performance reporting, ensuring all products adhere to best-practice actuarial standards and remain profitable.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: A qualified or nearly qualified actuary (FASSA or equivalent) with a Bachelor's or Honours degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. Successful completion of F103 (General Insurance Principles) or an equivalent short-term insurance exam is required.
• Experience: You should have a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in the non-life (short-term) insurance industry, with a strong working knowledge of actuarial pricing and product structuring principles. Experience with the SAM capital regime is also essential.
