About the Role:

We are looking for a reliable and proactive

Night Shift Supervisor

to join our dynamic operations team. The primary focus of this role is to manage and monitor fleet activity during night shifts. The role will also include day shift coverage and weekend supervision when required.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Monitoring (Night Shift):

Supervise and monitor truck movements to ensure alignment with operational schedules and plans.

Breakdown & Emergency Response:

Act as the first point of contact for incidents, coordinating roadside assistance and escalating matters where necessary.

Diesel Monitoring:

Oversee and verify diesel fills and orders, reporting any irregularities immediately.

Load & Route Oversight:

Respond to load-related queries, assist drivers with instructions, and ensure that high-value loads are actively tracked and followed up.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure that all vehicles are parked at approved, secure locations overnight and that drivers comply with company protocols.

Driver Communication:

Provide professional support to drivers after hours, assisting with concerns and ensuring continuous communication.

Reporting & Handover:

Compile clear and accurate shift reports for the day team, noting all exceptions, incidents, and actions taken during the shift.

Requirements:

Previous experience in fleet monitoring or logistics operations (night shift experience advantageous) Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, especially under pressure High attention to detail and the ability to work independently Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and cover day shifts as needed
