Job Summary
Night Porter | Luxury Lodge | Cape Town
Salary: R12,000 per month | Live-Out Position
Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a Night Auditor for a luxury lodge located in Cape Town. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in hospitality operations and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee front desk operations during night shifts, ensuring a smooth and professional guest experience
Perform end-of-day financial procedures and reconcile daily revenue, including balancing POS and room charges
Monitor lodge security and safety, responding to guest needs and emergencies during overnight hours
Prepare and distribute daily reports to relevant departments and management
Manage late check-ins, early check-outs, and special guest requests with efficiency and discretion
Ensure lobby and front-of-house areas are clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times
Assist with administrative tasks, bookings, and data entry as required
Communicate any operational issues or guest feedback to the appropriate teams for follow-up
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar night audit or front office role, preferably in a luxury hospitality setting
Proficient in using property management systems and MS Office
Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Professional appearance and a high standard of personal integrity
Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays
Hospitality qualification is advantageous
