Job Description
KEYPERFORMANCEAREAS
- Facilitate the learning processes and outcomes of the Department of Mechatronics.
- Perform academic engagement.
- Perform curriculum and course administration.
- Applicants will be required to register for and complete a PhD in Mechatronics in a maximum period of 3 years.
- In-depth knowledge of the theory and application in the relevant disciplines related to Mechatronics.
- Ability to facilitate learning at the undergraduate level.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Have the potential to contribute to the creation of knowledge by publishing research and involvement in relevant engagement activities.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team.
- MEng /MSc in Engineering (Mechatronics) with BEng or BSc in Engineering (Mechatronics).
- The Masters must be achieved with a minimum average of 70%.
- Be registered for, or qualify to register for a PhD in Mechatronics.
- Lecturing and / or industry experience will be an added advantage.
- A research record of peer-reviewed publications will be a recommendation.
