Newlands/Mouille Point - AU PAIR - AFTERNOONS

Mom and dad are divorced. The child goes between homes each week. The au pair will work for both mom and dad. Lovely co-parenting family.

Ages:

7 year old son in Grade 2

Working hours:

Mon - Fri: 12:30 - 17:00

Duties:

Collect the child from school, take to extra murals and OT appointments. Assisting with homework and OT exercises. Draw up weekly schedules and add it to the family calendar. Unpack and pack bags for the following day. Pack bags for when changing between mom and dads house. Grocery shopping and running errands, buying school supplies. Engaging with the child and playing with him. Doing fun activities and building a bond with the child. Occasional sleep overs and babysitting (paid overtime)

Requirements:

Someone organised, reliable, takes initiative, active and willing to get down and play with the child. Female aged between 20 - 30 years old. Outdoorsy and engaging. Playful and patient. Someone willing to commit long term

Start date:

15 March 2026 - Permanent role

Salary:

R11000 - R12000 per month (gross, before deductions) plus SARS Rates (R4.76) per km.



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
