New Business Development Consultant Industrial

Job Description
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain, develop and grow existing client base
- Identify, explore and follow up on all opportunities within the market
- Actively pursue new business with clients
- Prepare and present quarterly business development plans
- Compile, maintain and update marketing- and sales strategy plans
- Provide feedback on market trends and customer comments
- Source and secure tenders
- Assist with the compilation and submission of quotations/tenders
- Proven marketing track record in an industrial/engineering-related field
- A relevant B-qualification in marketing and/or mechanical engineering will be an advantage
- Highly motivated, ambitious, positive and driven to succeed
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, who is innovative and a creative thinker
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills at an executive level
- Capable of working independently and within a team
- Candidate must be willing to travel both locally & international
- Negotiating and influencing skills
