Assist with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
Build and develop strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for business expansion.
Liaise with the team regarding sample deliveries and customer visits.
Oversee the sample room, ensuring it is well-organised, up-to-date, and stocked with active items.
Coordinate sample deliveries and manage inventory to support customer needs and marketing initiatives.
Regularly visit clients to gather feedback, update CRM records, and provide market insights.
Monitor and report on market trends to identify opportunities for new product promotions or adjustments.
Gather and analyse data on competitors, customer preferences, and industry trends to inform marketing strategies.
Market new and existing products to current and potential clients.
Conduct sessions for client representatives on product features, benefits, and usage.
Manage the lifecycle of new product development, from initial concept through testing and launch.
Conduct market research to gather insights on competitors, customer preferences, and industry developments.
Work closely with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales goals.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to support marketing initiatives.
Address customer concerns promptly.
Prepare and participate in client meetings, including organizing logistics and materials.
Plan and participate in industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to showcase products and network with potential clients.
Hold bi-monthly meetings with the sales and NDB manager to discuss sample deliveries, customer visits, market trends, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the marketing and sales teams and contribute to the overall success of the company.
REQUIREMENTS
Relevant degree or post-matric diploma/qualification
Proven experience in marketing or a related field.
Experience within the food and/or packaging industry is an advantage
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to analyse market trends and data.
Proficiency in marketing software and CRM systems.
Syspro and power bi experience will be to your advantage
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Excellent relationship building skills
Bilingual
Valid unendorsed driver's license and own reliable vehicle.
