In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth through face-to-face interactions and strategic prospecting. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a passion for sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.This is a field-based role requiring regular travel to engage potential clients, present solutions, and close deals.xc3x82What youxc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x84xa2ll do:

  • Sales calls (cold calling) to generate new business/ upsell to existing customers
  • Actively hunt for new customers
  • Face to face meetings with prospective clients and existing customers - Site meetings
  • Identifying sales opportunities and providing solutions for their requirements.
  • Schedule and perform product demonstrations with potential customers
  • Ensuring clients are well informed of current equipment and solutions that are on the market, suitable for their operations to stay current and above the competitors.
  • Day-to-day client management, ensuring client is well looked after for all their needs
  • Effectively handle all aspects of client communications, setting and exceeding expectations
  • Strive to improve client satisfaction and expand client relationships
  • Prepare accurate proposals/quotes, estimates and timelines for projects and obtain internal and client approvals as required
  • Work with the Installation team to understand client briefs and/or write creative briefs to ensure the successful delivery of an assignment
  • Attend to clients quote requests via email and telephone.
  • Create and maintain relationship with suppliers
  • Negotiate with suppliers on pricing and delivery of goods
  • Monitor and report on industry trends and needs to ensure clientxc3xa2xe2x82xacxe2x84xa2s requirements are met:
  • Awareness is maintained during client conversations, e.g. competitor activity, customer requirements and seeing potential gaps in service offerings and delivery.
  • Generate and submit sales reports to management.
Your expertise:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Must have:
  • Good Sales track-record (Infrastructure and Hardware)
  • Must go out and hunt for New Business, recognise opportunities and get projects
  • Solutions Sold: Infrastructure and Hardware Sales
  • Infrastructure and Hardware Solutions experience required: Fibre, Cabling,
  • Access Points, Printers for
(Barcode Scanners) * Targets: Must have taken care of Large Deals: at least R 300 000, R 500 000 and above
  • Have knowledge of the Auto ID mobility industry
  • Ability to sell solutions and understand operations
  • Have an understanding of Network Points/ Cabling/ Fibre Installations
  • Reporting
  • Dynamic, Good Personality, Confident, Good Communication at Stakeholder and
level, Charismatic, Pro-Active, Energetic, Good personality. * Well presented
  • Look for new business and build relationships as well as call on existing customers
  • Be able to Identify opportunities
  • Detailed orientated with strong analytical skills

Qualifications required:
  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration
