Job Description
Duties:
Conducting neurological tests and physical assessments of patients
Administering medications to patients
Monitoring patients' neurological activity
Assisting neurological doctors with procedures
Providing pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
Educating patients on rehabilitation exercises
Communicating with doctors about patients' conditions
Developing treatment plans for patients
Maintaining and updating patients' medical records
Communicating with patients' families about their progress
Requirements:
- Have a current, active Registered Nurse license with SANC
- Have provided direct or indirect nursing care in the field of neuroscience or stroke care for at least two years within the last five years.
