Job Summary:

As the Manager of the Network Fault Management team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective detection, diagnosis, and management of incidents related to infrastructure, applications, and services. You will be responsible for leading a team of skilled professionals, implementing best practices, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities: * Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Fault Management professionals to ensure a high level of performance and job satisfaction.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that aligns with organizational goals and values.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear objectives, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Incident Detection and Diagnosis:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of effective incident detection processes to promptly identify issues related to infrastructure, applications, and services.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure the timely and accurate diagnosis of incidents, minimizing downtime and impact on services.
  • Fault Management Strategy:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Fault Management strategy that aligns with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance the Fault Management framework.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams:
  • Work closely with other teams, including Network Operations, Service Delivery, and Technical Support, to ensure seamless communication and coordination in incident resolution.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to enhance the Fault Management process.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for Fault Management and implement monitoring systems to track and report on performance.
  • Generate regular reports to communicate the status of Fault Management activities, incident trends, and resolution times.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Fault Management.
  • Implement a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Qualifications and Skills: * Bachelors degree in a relevant field; additional certifications in Network Management or related areas are a plus.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a Network Operations or Service Operations Centre.
  • In-depth knowledge of Fault Management principles, tools, and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, applications, and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make informed decisions based on data and trends.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing and improving Fault Management processes.
