Network Engineer (specialist)

Job Description
The role of the Specialist Network Engineer encompasses many activities, including (but not limited to):
Designing and managing complex network architectures, including cloud networking. Leading the troubleshooting of network issues to ensure high availability. Implementing and managing network security solutions, including firewalls and VPNs. Developing policies and best practices for network management. Collaborating with Senior Engineers to transfer research findings into scalable, production-ready solutions. Providing expert insights on specific tools, frameworks, or algorithms, ensuring the organization stays ahead in innovation.
Requirements
NQF 6 or a Degree in Information Communication Technology (ICT) field incorporating (but not limited to) Information Systems; Microsoft certification or Cisco Certification or AWS certification, and * Minimum of 6 years' experience as a Network Engineer or Data Centre.
