As our

NetSuite Controller

, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the financial backbone of our growing firm. You'll collaborate with senior leadership, team members, and clients, ensuring our back office operations are accurate, efficient, and scalable.

We're looking for someone who is:

A QBO ProAdvisor with demonstrated experience integrating systems and interfaces Proficient and confident in NetSuite ERP, with a solid understanding of its capabilities Comfortable engaging with CEOs and business owners, including managing challenging conversations with professionalism and tact A quick learner and self-starter who takes initiative and ownership Exceptionally organized with outstanding time management skills Naturally thrives in a remote, work-from-home environment Passionate about technology and automation in accounting Highly motivated, results-driven, and thrives in fast-paced settings A detail-oriented team player with a knack for solving problems A strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, plus CA(SA)*
3 years' experience with NetSuite ERP and QuickBooks Online and/or Desktop Advanced Excel proficiency, including DSUM, DCOUNT, Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts, Formulas, Functions, and Macros Comprehensive understanding of accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, Bill.com, and NetSuite Ability to identify and implement improvements in client accounting processes and systems

What the role entails

Success in this role means confidently managing both strategic and day-to-day accounting tasks, including:

Leading new client onboarding and guiding clients through ERP and system adoption Advising on and facilitating data migrations between platforms Providing strategic insight on accounting best practices Building strong relationships with clients and setting clear financial expectations Evaluating internal controls and identifying process improvements Reviewing the functionality of accounting systems and making recommendations for enhancement Preparing and maintaining budgets, analyzing financial performance, and initiating corrective actions as needed Assisting clients in cash flow forecasting and cost management Establishing and enforcing financial policies and internal controls Preparing clear and insightful financial reports to inform leadership decisions Ensuring confidentiality and security of financial information Creating custom financial reports and analyses to support client growth Ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements Maintaining up-to-date knowledge through professional development and industry involvement
