Join a growing telecommunications technology team in Alberton, Johannesburg, where youll lead talented developers in building robust, scalable, and high-performance systems that power mission-critical telecoms solutions.
Were looking for an experienced .NET Team Lead with a strong technical foundation and a background in the telecoms industry, ideally within Fibre Network Operator (FNO) or Mobile Network Operator (MNO) environments.
This role combines hands-on software development with system design, architectural leadership, and team mentorship.
Requirements:
5+ years experience in .NET development (C#, .NET Core/5+).
Proven experience in systems design and architecture (Microservices, SOA).
Strong MS SQL Server expertise.
Leadership experience mentoring, guiding, and managing development teams.
Experience working in Telecoms (FNO/MNO) environments.
Deep understanding of Prepaid Airtime Systems and related integrations.
Desirable Skills
BSc in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
Exposure to front-end frameworks (Angular, React) is advantageous.
Knowledge of telecoms protocols (e.g., Diameter, SMPP, REST, SOAP).
