Qualifications: Job Requirements and the type of candidate we are looking for:



Matric /Grade 12

Tertiary qualification or a strong background in Visual Merchandising

2-3 years of experience in Visual Merchandise, preferably at head office level

Creative, design background advantageous, a passion for homeware product retail display and merchandising a SERIOUS advantage

High attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise with brand, merchant and operational teams

Deadline driven

Creative, Hands-on

Self-motivated
Ability to independently (via public or own transport) travel to KZN (i.e. Pavillion, Hillcrest, Gateway) stores for mock up purposes

Responsibilities: Develop a close working relationship with the Marketing & Buying departments to ensure Visual Merchandise (VM) is aligned, developed and successfully implement according to the brand strategic intent.

Develop and maintain VM communications which outline Mr Price Home VM principles, standards and objectives which are aligned to the brand identity and strategy including core business processes. These include:

Range booklets by store grade.

Standards manuals by store type.

Weekly promotional activities.

Seasonal promotional and campaign launch activities

Maintenance of marketing standards throughout VM.

Manage all in store visual presentation of seasonal promotion activities by creating and maintaining a compelling presentation of merchandise that will engage customers and help stimulate sales.
