National Utility Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee utilities management and reporting, ensuring accuracy of billing, income, and expenditure.
  • Manage SLAs with service providers and collaborate with asset/property managers on variances and projects.
  • Conduct variance investigations, provide solutions, and communicate findings to clients and stakeholders.
  • Lead utility training annually to align the team with industry standards and client expectations.
  • Approve council account variances, oversee monthly accrual processes, and resolve queries.
  • Manage tenant utility billings, ensuring timely and accurate uploads and reconciliations.
  • Support financial planning through forecasting, budgeting, and expenditure reporting.
  • Manage service providers and procurement processes (RFI, RFP, RFQ).
  • Lead special projects to improve sustainability and reduce carbon footprint.
What You Will Bring (Non-Negotiables)
  • Engineering Degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) qualification.
  • 5-7 years' minimum experience in utilities management within a municipality or real estate portfolio.
