Job Summary

Experience & Qualification

  • Matric
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification
  • 15+ years in Proven Sales Track record
  • 5+ years in senior managerial / Exco or director level
  • Experience of managing national sales team and national footprint
  • Proven experience of sales strategy development and implementation
  • Previous experience in the tyre automotive or logistical sector /industry is required.
  • Understanding of financial budgets and PNL or income statement core requirements
  • Strong client focus / service orientation
  • Ability to coordinate / delegate.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic management of the company's entire sales team, growth, and retention strategy management on new and existing clients
  • Development and implementation growth strategy year on year (existing and new customers)
  • Setting a Long-term sales strategy
  • Communicating and driving sales strategy with the Sales Team
  • Customer Retention Strategy and management
  • Effectively building and communicate strategic value propositions.
  • Build and maintain long-lasting, strong relationships with customers while partnering with them to better understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Sales Team Management and tracking of Teams performance.
  • Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes and adapting sales Strategy and implementation accordingly.
  • Growing sales Team and management of succession planning
