Pinelands High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Music and Creative Arts Teacher to join our team from
1 April 2026
. The ideal candidate must be able to inspire a love for music in learners while ensuring a high standard of music education.Closing date: 8 January 2026

Minimum Requirements
Have an appropriate degree and qualification to teach Music and Creative arts; Be registered with SACE (South African Council of Educators); At least two years of experience in teaching Music and/or Creative Arts; Be computer literate and capable of effectively using the Microsoft and Google suites to enhance teaching and learning; Excellent communication and classroom management skills; Excellent administrative skills; Ability to plan and teach Class Music; Evaluate learners' progress through regular assessments and provide constructive feedback; Be actively involved in the school's extra-curricular Music program, including Jazz Band.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teach Creative Arts to Grades 8 & 9; Individual practical tuition to Grades 8-12; Applicants must state instruments offered; Preference for Saxophone and Piano teaching at all levels, but other orchestral instruments will be considered; Accompanying skills would be advantageous.
