Job Summary Responsibilties:

Coordinate and monitor shipments across multiple transport modes (air, sea and road)
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all freight documentation.
Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal teams to ensure smooth cargo movement.
Track and report on shipment statuses and proactively manage potential delays or issues.
Ensure full compliance with local and international transport regulations and Incoterms.
Assist with costing and invoicing.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 35 years experience in a logistics, freight forwarding, or transport coordination role.
Proven experience with multimodal shipments and understanding of international freight logistics.
Proficiency in shipping systems, customs documentation, and Incoterms.
Strong administrative and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple shipments, and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Computer literacy (MS Office, shipment tracking systems).
Knowledge of SARS customs systems is a strong advantage.
