Conduct field and the laboratory research
Comply with OHS (operational, health and safety) regulations.
Data capture analyses and interpretations.
Disseminate technology through peer-reviewed scientific articles.
BSc Hons (Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Wine Biotechnology), with an average of at least 60%.
Enroll for an MSc degree at Stellenbosch University.
Knowledge of environmental microbiology, and yeast and bacteria identification will be an advantage.
Good communication skills (written and verbal).
Willingness to travel to remote areas for sampling.
A valid driver's license will be an advantage.
