Msc Student Dairy Science (2 Years Fixed Term Contract)
Job Description
Conduct dairy processing trials and evaluations in alignment with research objectives, including product development, process optimization, and quality/safety testing of dairy products.
Contribute scientific knowledge towards the research project objectives.
Assist with compiling project budgets and purchases.
Operate and maintain facility material and equipment.
Provide research support, diagnostics, and other project services.
Collect, capture, and process data with basic analysis.
Provide verbal/written reports on work activities and results.
Optimize laboratory equipment and processing systems.
Assist in the preparation for presentations.
Assist in writing of proposals and scientific articles
Render diagnostic, technical and other project services.
Comply with SHE/OHS policies and procedures.
BSc Honours, BSc, or B-Tech in Food Science, Food Technology, or Consumer Science.
Understanding of the basic principles of scientific research.
Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Knowledge or practical experience in dairy processing will be an advantage.
